A note from our Missions Secretary, Olive Daggett:

Our Annual Missions Month will take place in February. Erick and Yoamy Sanchez , our missionaries to Honduras, will share many exciting things taking place in their ministry in Honduras. You will have a number of opportunities to learn more about their ministry while they are here.

The Sanchezes will speak at a Potluck Supper about plans for the land that was purchased recently for their ministry, and you will delight in the delicious food prepared by our own BBC folks. We will be able to worship with them at our Sunday morning service. Time has been planned for Yoamy to speak at the morning and evening Women’s Bible study fellowship, and both Erick and Yoamy will speak at PrimeTime (senior adult ministry) and youth groups. Translators will be provided so that we will not miss any of the blessings the Lord has for us.

We will see and hear from our missionaries Mitzi Norton, Dr. Russell White, and Dr. Dan Kim with updates on video of their involvement in serving the Lord.

Pastor Aurelino Cruz will present his work with the Quechea people here in the United States and ladies from that group will be singing in one of our Sunday morning worship services. Our own John Mentus (Men of Integrity) will be preaching and telling of his work with the prisoners at the ACI (Adult Correctional Institute) in Cranston, RI. Many men have come to know the Lord through this ministry.

The Missions Team has prayed, planned, and prepared for another great Missions Month. We hope you will join us for this time of blessing.

Our Faith Promise project this year will go towards supporting the ministry of our global partners, Erick and Yoamy Sanchez, as they seek to reach the Lenca minority group in Honduras. Specifically, we will be helping to fund the construction of a building (like the one pictured) on the recently purchased land intended for use as a camp and conference center. The building will include an area for teaching and training as well as a kitchen and a dining area.
